Helping hand
I installed 5 cabinet door struts and had a helping hand tat made the installation easy. I used a command strip hook to hold the cabinet door open at the right height.
in addition to the struts I installed a towel rack in the bathroom, installed my new TST, hung a couple of clocks and other items the DW wanted, added a cordless light under the kitchen sink. These with the previous mods I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

That is one great idea. Wish you had thought of it before I put all ours up.

That's a great idea! I'll do that when ours arrives too. My favorite part of owning an RV is all the customizing we do to it. It makes it one of a kind, and all ours!
I already purchased 12VDC LED light strips (tape) and plan to put them over the slides, in the cabinets (micro switch activated), and under the cabinets. Did this in the old RV, but having to do it on slides will be a bigger challenge!
Congrats on the upgrades! Bet it's a good feeling to see the honey do list shrinking!

Very good idea that will help many others. Believe it or not our 3585SA does not have any cabinet doors hinged at the top like this.

This is our first rig with these cabinet doors. But with one in the kitchen and four over the bed I figured there had to be a better way than trying to hold the door open with the help of the DW or by yourself or taking the doors off. The command hooks made installing the struts easy and easy to remove.
Mark. We are looking at adding the LED strip to the side of the our rig also. We have seen them on several MOC rigs and they look nice.

IKEA has a nice selection of led's. I've used the LEDBERG and DIODER. They are 12v systems with a transformer to plug into a 120v outlet and toggle switch.
The cool thing is that you can cut off the transformer section and wire it right into the 12v wiring and have it work with an existing switch to replace a current led light.

It's pretty easy to do too. I added them to my house under a retractable awning on the deck. Be sure to get weather rated strips. Mine came on a roll, but there are outdoor rated strips on Amazon too. I like either the RGB adjustable, or the 2700K warm white color. I used these, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, but only inside.
