New Members

Hello!
New member(s) here- I'm Chantelle, husband is Rob (I think he joined as well) and our 9 y/o GSD Leroy. We sold everything, dropped our daughter off at college and left Minnesota at the end of September. We've been full timing in our 2011 Keystone 3030BH and exploring Florida. We came here to look for a sailboat to live on... and 2 weeks ago we traded the TT in on a 2022 Montana 3231CK Land Yacht. Our daughter doesn't know yet, she'll find out next week when she visits for spring break.

We are both USAF veterans and our current travel plans have us going mostly between Florida and Minnesota (avoiding the cold months), we like to stay at Famcamps (currently in Tampa at MacDill). Possibly/probably looking into workcamping starting late summer, early fall.

Anyone else with a 3231ck?

Chantelle and Rob welcome to the MOC family! Congratulations on your new "land yacht"! You'll find lots of helpful folks here with boat loads (pun intended) of knowledge to share should you have questions.

Thank you both for your service.

Welcome aboard! The 3231 is a great floor plan...it's on our list of possible upgrades in the next few years.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new lifestyle.

My kids grew up camping with tents and then later a pop-up. When my last one (my daughter) graduated from high school and she joined the Navy, we went from a pop-up camper to our first hard-sided travel trailer. Our daughter NEVER let us live that down. Even to this day (29 years later)... she says we are not really "camping" any more! We just laugh at her and move on.

So, your daughters reaction may be amusing too. Expect anything out of her! It's your life now, and now she has to make her own!

Happy Camping!

Congratulations!! My husband and I have been camping together since we started dating back in high school. . . 1985. Started with his family and developed into our own love of camping together. We are on our 5th RV, second Montana. Would love to hear your daughters response

Congratulations on a new lifestyle. Smart move to be south during the winter. Have a different Montana 3900 I believe but you'll get help if needed and plenty of folks who will share places they like and maintenance tips. Enjoy..
