RV LEGISLATION ALABAMA

Hey Folks,
Not sure what this means,to us common folks, nor am I sure if this is ok to post. Here is goes, there is a Senate Bill here in Alabama that deals with the RV supplier / RV dealer relationship. Hope the below link works, else do a search for alison senate bill SB397 alabama.

Steve

Hey Murf, You forgot to mention one of our favorite pastimes-spanking Fulmer..ouch!!! From what I can tell SB397(if it even gets to the floor) would require the vendor/manufacture to honor it's dealer commitment, like paying labor on warrenty work. "Roll Tide" scratch, scratch. Steve

On cursory reading, it sounds like they are protecting their dealers from Manufactures. I saw nothing to protect the consumer from bad practices by the dealer. Sounds like the good old boys taking care of the home boys.

Stiles -

I read it the same way. This may actually hurt consumers by making it more difficult to get rid of a bad dealer.

typical politics. Scratching each others back and step on the little man. At least some lawmaker has some bug in his head to start some type or rv legislation. It may not be perfect but its a start.
