Gas Props supporting bed

There was a post recently about the gas props under the bed base coming away from the frame due to connecting to a weak spot. I found and fixed another cause.

The whole ply base was not square due to one of the two hinges breaking. A quick trip to Home Depot and a new full width piano hinge is fitted. Had a look at the hinge that broke and I am not surprised it gave. BTW we have yet to even sleep on the bed - still messing around with lots of lovely prep work. Go to do something until the snow melts!
