HC 377fl no way to keep front and back door open
For some reason our 2021 HC front and back doors don't have anything to hold the doors open so we can use only our screen doors. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what did you do? Our front door has a rubber piece that prevents the door from opening all the way back.

Friction hinge?
My 2018 has the friction hinge on the door. That holds the door just fine unless in high wind. You want it closed then anyway. That’s why they didn’t put o hook on it.

I added a door hook to hold the door back ( like I have had on every other RV I have had)

I have to open it all the way to get the ladder out. How do you? Also, those friction doors are no match for Iowa winds. Agree with the issue.

Door hook
A picture is better than words...this is what I called a “door hook”

We installed two magnetic door holders similar to the ones used for your baggage doors. Works fine.

Love the string idea. I'm leary of putting screws into our brand new rv. Scared of causing leaks.

Door wouldn’t stay open
We have a 330RL and had the same problem. I also installed two magnetic door holders similar to the ones used for your baggage doors. Works great.

I've got a 2013 3582 and the door opens wide and had a hook or holder on it like Mikendebbie posted a picture of and I've taken it off and installed a magnet on the door and also the side wall to hold the door open like Arizonadesertrat did. The magnets are strong enough to hold the door open even in Arizona winds we experience while we Snowbird down there. I got mine from my dealer but you can purchase them off of Amazon if you look enouigh.
