Cost for wash and wax?
What is considered a good bargain on a wash and wax? Either total or price per foot. What is usually included, widows Rain-X, awning cleaned?
Thank you in advance.
Maiden voyage in 4 days. When we arrive in Florida, I want to get the rig looking as good as it does now in my driveway!

Here in this park in Florida, varies with detailer, $200 to $350 a rig. I do ours myself.

Ask around at destination. Some parks do not allow washing, some do. Those that do usually have contacts. You sound like you definitely want it shining so cost is relative to your want.

I was thinking about pricing mine out down here. There are probably 4 or 5 different wash/wax contractors in the resort everyday doing rigs. If it was $300 or under I sure would consider it.

I don't know but I am sure I could find a lot of other places to spend $200 to $350. Yes I know it's an extreme amount of work and the old body suffers after but we just do a section at a time, after all we've got the time.
At least we know what we are looking at for cost if we ever get that point! Thanks.

Here in the RGV it cost me $105 for a wash and wax, awning cleaned. There are several different vendors in our park. Last year used a different service and it was $80 for same service.

Thank you all for the information. Jim, where are you that it is so inexpensive?
I am working still - just work camping the month of March so I don't have the time to wash and wax myself. My DW is too short to do the work. At least that is the excuse I am buying #128512;
My other excuses are: I don't have a ladder except for the one on the back. My back can't handle the work. The kids took all my detailing equipment. And I am afraid of heights.

That's not too bad. A local carwash here wanted to charge me over $700 (!). I passed. I did have a prior unit completely detailed in Arizona one time for $325.
