Hi Driftwoodgal and Welcome to the MOC Family.

The 3400 is a very popular unit and I am sure someone around here will be able to answer all your questions.

As far as the 2500 with the D/A being able to handle the 3400? You bet it can and you will find a number of MOCers using the same TV to haul their 3400 around.
