Office equipment

Do anyone keep or use a printer/copier/scanner machine? If you need access to one, what do you do? Thanks

We use a Wireless HP Printer for our needs, since we spend 8 to 10 months in the RV.

I just move the one we have to the house or RV depending on where we are. They are light and easy to move. They are also inexpensive enough to just get a second one to leave in the RV.

I carry a Epson Picture Mate for printing my photos and if I need a printer I take my Epson printer. It’s one of those you put ink in in place of an ink cartridge. The bottles of ink are good for 5000 pages at $12 per bottle.

We carry an HP printer/copier/scanner with us. The one we have is a cheaper one, I'm sure it is under $50, but it works well for us in whatever we need it for.

I use an HP 6978 Office Jet
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FS2W6I8...v_ov_lig_dp_it

I still work while on the road and need to print and scan on a regular basis. My only problem is that I often don't print enough to keep the ink from drying up.
It was only about $80 and has everything I need including wifi.

We just carry a low end Epson that seems to do a decent job even with photos.

We are not full-time, but more "anytime" and I do work while we travel. I picked up a Canon iP110 that does print, scan and copy. It does not auto-duplex. However it is tiny and works great for me! I got it on amazon and a carry case for it - best travel printer I've had.

We traveled for 10 months and took one. My husband did the eye roll when I said I wanted to take it but he was glad to have it with us. I have a smaller one on my Christmas list to leave in the 5th wheel.

Just looked up the ip110 on Amazon. It doesn't mention scanning. Are you sure it scans? That's a must have for me.

It is relatively rare that I need to print while on the road but, just in case, I carry an HP Deskjet 1010. It was very inexpensive and does not have wireless capability so I have to connect a USB cable to the PC. Not a big inconvenience.

Many public libraries offer the use of their copy/fax machine for a small fee if you only need to use one once in a while.

I would go to the local Staples or Office Max perhaps.

In our 2007 3500-RL, there was plenty of wasted space behind the supplied tv. We took it out and mounted a flat screen and were able to cut out an opening to allow me to make and install a slide tray for the printer/copier.
We now use it for DVD storage. I have attached photos, hope they help someone.
Happy Trails,

We have a 2007 3400RL with a similar setup for TV as yours. You did a great job in utilizing that "unused" space behind the old CRT type TV. We also replaced the old TV with a flat screen, but haven't yet utilized the extra space behind the TV. Your change motivates me to make this change in ours.

Good job!!!

Happy Trails,

Now that is really nice. Our 5er has a cabinet shaped about like that but with a flat screen and a slide out mount that takes up a lot of room. It has a couple shelves in the back sized for DVDs and other odd stuff but the access without a door could be a lot better.. Hmmmm

We have an Epson "All in One" that we must take home or in the RV as to leave it anywhere would see the Ink / function fail (learned that the hard way when we left our old home Printer alone at home for months at at time).
Conveniently our old Montana has a desk area with a droplid to put the laptop on and the printer just behind that.
