Great story. Makes you realize that what a tire looks like means nothing. The tires on my '07 3400 where made in '04. They have good tread but are showing there age. Lot's of cracks and "bumps" on the sidewalls. Time to get a new set. Too bad the RV industry is no better than the auto industry...bottom line is more important than consumer safety.

Joe, you need to get ahold of Tireco ASAP. They will replace those tires for free.

My Dodge 2004 truck has General Tires and I had one almost blow out last week. The tread started to separate and I was able to limp into a tire store, Goodyear, and get it replaced. I bought Wranglers for the front.
What brands are working best for others?

I only run Michelins on my TV, wouldn't consider anything else. Something like the "which truck is best" thing, don't confuse me with facts I'm doing it my way and that's that.

Jim,
I think you should use Michelins. I don't think you should consider anything else.
