Its Cold In Here Part 2
Thanks to all with suggestions on our furnace not coming on. Turned out there is a switch in the furnace compartment that was turned off. Its a little difficult to see because your looking at the side of the switch and not the switch button itself, anyway turning the switch on got the furnace going. Now were experiencing absolutely no heat flowing out the bedroom register and little heat coming from the bathroom register. I'm probably hearing the furnace motor running and thinking there's heat coming from the bathroom register but actually there isn't any. We have great heat flowing from the registers in the kitchen and living room register. Any thoughts? Thanks again!!

Glad I mentioned the switch to you. Now pull the partial passthru wall and hook up the four or five inch flextube. Check to make sure it is still connected to the bedroom floor box first. John

He's right, you're going to have to get under there and reconnect the ductwork.

If that switch wasn't on it is likely that your dealer DID NOT test run the furnace.

Once I removed the storage space wall I noticed the flex hose from the central vac had hit and tore the aluminum flex heat duct off at the bedroom register. I cut off the torn part of the aluminum flex duct, put a piece of duct tape on the end for a little reinforcement. reconnected and mama is happy! Thanks to John and ALL for inputs!

Another case of the "Old World Amish Craftsmanship" line of BS, which was "resolved by the buyer of said product because of the hassle of getting it done through warranty and waiting 3 months to get their rig back due to back and forth phone calls about how they ordered the parts, but they really didn't, then when they really do order them they get shipped the wrong parts, etc., etc., ad nauseam".
Don't believe me? Just ask Wayne and Carolyn Mathews MOC-7445. A nine-month wait, I think it was.

That said, I sure as heck wouldn't want to be one of the guys on the assembly line, constantly under pressure to keep the line moving whether or not you are having difficulty with a particular installation process. I couldn't work that way, couldn't let sub-par work get passed my station. I'd get the "talked to" verbal warnings, written up, and eventually the "lay off pink slip"/"you're fired" finale.

It is disappointing that the price one pays for a camper you would think would be put together better. I can understand an occasional issue but we've had this camper for three weeks and I've fixed three problems that should have been caught at the factory. I'm compiling a list of issues that next April we will take back to Camping World to repair.
