Everyone on the forum has very good information. Here's my 2 cents. We use Good Sam campground app to find campgrounds with pull thrus. We have a 3160RL we pull with a RAM mega cab long bed with pull rite slider hitch & a 50 gal fuel tank in bed. We've found some campgrounds are big enough to leave truck attached to Monty for an overnighter. We've pulled bumper pull trailers for years, this is our first 5th wheel and the driving/riding experience is so much better. We made our first long trip last spring from FL to Utah (5035 mi), averaged 9.9 mi/gal & used 3-2.5 gal DEF.
