30A fuse for 12V power...

We have a 2020 Chevy and our 12V power quit working at the plug.

Looked under the hood, and the 30A fuse there is blown.

Have others had issues with this fuse blowing when you're residential fridge is working on the inverter? Our batteries got run down in our 5er, and I wonder if it pulled too much while trying to charge the batteries and run the inverter...

Are you sure 30 Amp is correct, I think mine is 45 Amp, or at least it was on my '11 Silverado.

Yeah, I'm sure. It's pink, and those are the 30A ones.

You are correct, it sounds awful small. But, even at 45A, I believe that the inverter is on an 80A circuit....

Actually the circuit breaker or Fuse for the Inverter will depend on the size of the Inverter. My 1000 Watt Inverter is fused with a 150 Amp fuse because under make load the Inverter would be drawing over 100 plus Amps.
My fridge only draws 11 amps from the batteries when running and I'm running 4 six volt T105s.

You're correct. It is like welding cable going to our inverter, which I think is only a 1K watt as well. I want for sure how big the circuit breaker was in that circuit, but I knew it was bigger than 30A!!
