This thread is like watching the section in Apollo 13 where they are trying to get the last bit of power out of the LEM to get home. Sorry, couldn't resist. Guess we're fortunate. Our 2005 3400RL seems to have plenty of power. I haven't tried finding out what's on each circuit yet. Sounds of "more power" coming from an RV sends the campground owner into convulsions.

If I understand what you are trying to say, you run the 50/30 cable from the coach's rear input port to the inverter's 120V plug (obviously with a 50/30 to 15 amp adapter. If the inverter is the one producing the alarm I can only conclude there is something wrong with the cables from the coach to the inverter. Perhaps the inverter manual will explain what the alarm is about.

Does the 50/30 amp cable power the coach when plugged into shore power?

Have you tried just plugging a test lamp into the inverter to see if that works?

Ablejohn ... perhaps you should have started a new topic ... this one was started and discussed around the 2005 time frame. Are you saying you bought a 2500 watt generator?
