The Left Side Line From Lp Tank Squeals

When we use the left side lp tank ( With Red Regulator)and the furnace runs , we can hear a squeal in the lp tank and kind of aggravating when we are trying to sleep. The right one does not do that when the furnace runs. What is causing this? All I can figure maybe it's the red regulator.

That would be my guess. Mine went bad and I just removed it. Some people don't agree with my remedy but for 6 years it hasn't been a problem. Jim

I also removed the red regulator almost 4 years ago and have had no problems.

Assuming it was there for a reason, I did replace mine after it started leaking about 5 years ago. Inexpensive and easy to replace.

The red regulator catches a lot of hell, some deserved, some not. I had same problem, found bad hose, try switching right with left for troubleshooting.
