Looks like you're in good shape on all your weights Stiles. It's hard to believe the truck weighs that much isn't it??

Rich,
I think I weigh 75-100 pounds more than you. I have a 4:30 rear end which may be heavier than your 4:10. I have a 5 gallon of diesel tank on board and my tool box is loaded. But you will notice that I am under all ratings.

Stiles..I knew you would be under all ratings,,Our trucks are very similar. I will have to weigh mine again. I now do not remember if I had a full tank of fuel or not.My GCWR is listed at 23,500lbs with the 4:10's and we are well under that.

When I last saw Stiles truck, I didn't notice a kitchen sink. I do remember something about a "bun warmer" though. Bob

I wish you had a 2005 6.0L King Ranch, then I wouldn't have to weigh mine.

I'll try to help you out Wayne. Mine is an '06, but I bet the weights are similar other than I have a 3685FL behind it. Since the picture in my signature we convinced Ford that there spring were not stout enough and they paid the bill to have an additional leaf put in to hold up the weight of the trailer. I was a little disappointed in purchasing a dually only to see it squat more than my previous single wheel F350.
Truck weight:
Front axle: 4990
Rear axle: 3760
GVW: 8750
Trailer: 12790
Pin weight: 2330
GVW: 15120
GCVW: 23870

As stated previously...Fords are extremely heavy. That weight does not seem to bother the duallys, but really cuts into the GVWR/cargo capacity on 3/4 tons.

From what I've seen it doesn't affect the payload because they also have a higher GVWR (not lower) than the competition. Or did in 2005 when I bought an F250, anyhow. GVWR on that truck was 10,000. By comparison, my 2007 Dodge megacab SRW 3500 has GVWR of 10,100. Just 100 pounds more than that heavy Ford 3/4 ton. GCWR on the Ford was 23,000. On my 3500 it's 21,000. Tow rating was also higher on the 3/4 ton Ford than on my Dodge. Payload is where the difference is. The Ford payload was 21xx, right about the norm for a 3/4 ton. On the Dodge 1-ton it's 2577 (it's SRW). (Somebody tell me again that going from 3/4 ton to 1 ton is a big step up. Nomenclature doesn't as much today as it used to.)
By the way, that F250 with full tank and both of us onboard is with 20 lbs of what this Dodge weighs with the same load. Both were shortbed, SRW, crew-cab, diesel, automatic.
