More Newbees

Hi All,
We're new owners as well with an '06 2955RL picked up on 9/9 and checked out for a week in Yellowstone. The forums have been a big help in adjusting to the new outfit. Keep up the great dialogs! We'll be part timing with this and hope to use it to workamp next summer.
This trailer pulls easier than expected with little reaction to passing trucks for such a high profile. There have been a few QC issues but the dealer is treating us great. The only significant defect was that a brake wire came loose at the axle in the first 30 miles but was found and fixed promptly after returning to the dealer.
Hope to meet some of the friendly folks that post here!

Welcome werhapy to the MOC family.

You picked a great model. We have been fulltiming in our 2955 for nearly 2 years and love it. With the exception of a sagging shower door we have had zero problems with ours.

Keep us posted as to your adventures in your new Monty

Welcome, werhapy, come on down to Minden for the Rally. We're having a great time already. Plenty of room. Congratulations on your new Montana. There's lots to learn at the rally, just sharing ideas with other owners.

Welcome aboard and congratulations on the new 2955RL! That's a very popular model, an excellent choice in my opinion.

I wonder if we crossed paths in or near Yellowstone? We left there 9/15. We stayed out at Red Rock RV Park between West Yellowstone and Island Park. We also were in the Fishing Bridge CG in Yellowstone, visiting some friends one evening. And we saw a couple of Montanas under tow in that general time frame and flashed headlights at them.

In any case, I hope you have many years of enjoyment from the new rig.

Sounds like we just missed you since we went to Fishing Bridge on the 15th. We would have gone close to the Red Rock Park since we went through Island Park and into the park at West Yellowstone.

Welcome Werhapy! Hope you enjoy your fiver as much as we have. We're pretty new also and are still learning. Out for a 2 month trip to see if we can do this for 8-10 months next year.

Sorry we missed meeting you. We saw a couple of Montanas headed toward Yellowstone as we headed south out of the area. I wonder if one of them was you. We flashed headlights but I think there was one that came on us too quickly and we didn't get the lights flashed until almost too late.

Hope you enjoyed Yellowstone.
