Fantastic and ultra breeze cover installation

My 3670 has a fantastic fan installed. I would like to install another fan in my forward vent location and put ultra breeze covers on both. Should I have a dealer perform the install? I want it done right as I don't need a leaking roof but I am afraid it might be beyond my capabilities as power will need to be routed to the vent. Any thoughts? Do most of you have the dealer install and if so, is it pretty painless and something they can easily do without hurting the integrity of the roof? Oh, and any recommendations for an RV service shop in the Tulsa area would be appreciated.

Thanks

Robert

You can do it. I have replaced two vents with Fantastic Fans and never had a leak. Watch this...

I also used Eternabond tape https://www.eternabond.com/

As far as installing them in an existing location it's a piece of cake. As to installing one in a new location I'd have it done. The wiring harness on many of our rigs runs along the ceiling making it easy to tap in and a major problem if you hit it cutting the hole. As far as roof leaks, you just use self leveling lap sealant like the pro's do. It's very user friendly.

I agree with others, this is not a hard job. If you are uncomfortable doing it yourself, have a good RV mechanic perform the work. A dealership is usually the most expensive way to go and ties up your RV for the most amount of time.

Jay,
A question on your response; You mention "A good RV Mechanic".

Do you mean the Mobile services listed or an actual RV garage of some sort? I just returned from your area (AFA FAMCAMP) and know they have several Mobile RV mechanics in that area. I've wondered about other options since dealers are often so busy and their mechanics vary.

Thanks.
Bill
