Monty Brakes

After many attempts looking for the intermittent brake problem, I gave up and deliverd my 2955RL to the shop. They found two malfuntioning magnets. Since the wheels would be pulled off anyway, I had them repack the wheel bearings at the same time. It's a bit expensive @ $399. However it sure feels great to have brakes working well again.

Jerry, there is nothing better than a quiet brake controller! Mine has been silent ever since our Dealer found one of the magnets had both wires cut off and the wire was intermittently shorting on the backing plate, not to mention the wiring mess we found on the frame.

We drove clear to Montana and back listening to controller alarm on the dash every couple of minutes or so. Of course it had reason to alarm, but a nuisance none-the-less. Glad you got it fixed!
