Thetford Aqua-Magic Plus II Dripping

We recently had some dirt injected into our water line at a RV Park. The filter stopped most but i noted some dirt in commode. After this happened the Thetford dripped water into bowl. Could I have dirt in the line? How can I fix it?

It sounds like you may have dirt in the valve. Not real sure how to take it apart safely and fix it since I had a Tetford valve actually blow apart on me (toilet replaced under warranty). We also had problems with both of them leaking out of the bowl. The problems only stopped when we replace the Tetfords with a Dometic.

I think from my experience that they are throw-away toilets. When our valve blew apart late one night, I never could get it repaired. Best to just replace it with a Dometic 310 or 320.

Follow the replace advice...and not with another aqua magic either. Domestic 310 and 320 are great toilets. Mine hasn't given me any trouble, but that aqua magic 2 flooded my unit.
