Getting Ready to Camp again.
It’s been a while since I posted here. This was first trip by myself hooking it up and pulling our 2018-1/2 Montana 3791RD. We were hit head on back on January 29th this year. I lost my 5th wheel traveling partner and the love of my life for the last 49-1/2 years. She really loved this Montana. I posted a couple pictures of the Ford Flex we were driving. I barely survived and still doing physical therapy. I never want another vehicle with any kind of glass top. The impact was calculated at 150+mph.
I just got the Montana out of the dealer for repairs again. This time for a leaking front jack, leaking dining slide ram and creeping hydraulic kitchen and dining hydraulic slide outs. The bathroom vent kept trying to open, but wouldn’t open. They replaced it with a remote control rain sensor fan. I love that upgrade. Roof inspected and one bad break repaired and all bearings packed and seals changed. I’m still waiting for the Max Air vents that have been on back order for at least 3 months.
I’m glad I purchased the 5 year service contract. I have had at least $5k worth of repairs since warranty ended and another $5k while in warranty. I will probably purchase another one of available.
Safe travels and Happy Camping to everyone this Labor Day weekend.
