2012 F-350 SRW

We made a deal on a new 2012 F-350 SRW to pull our 3400RL in Burkurnett,Tx. Which is about 325 miles from Amarillo, Tx. We would like to pull our Monty there and get the truck, get the hitch swap over then go back to home. The Ford dealer sevice manager said the 6.7L does not require a break in period ??? !!! I always put a 1,000 miles on with no cruise control before pulling a heavy Monty.
Question is: The 325 miles back to Amarillo, is this OK ???
Thanks,
Les
