We prefer sites with black top or concrete, while in the Valley.
Other than that, Winter Texans are busy busy people, they love their activities, that is why the campgrounds offer them.
Suggest considering trying one of the more pricy places at first, some we have discussed here on the forum, then look around real hard while you are there the first year. Make your own call.
If you go pricy, and compare that to the RV campground books, and the ratings thereof, for the first year, at least you won't be in a dive and trying to save a few coins. You can stay for a month, even at the pricy places for, ohhhhh, say under $600.00 a month, plus your electricity. The weather is very mild during January and February, you will rarely need to run your A/C, unless you have pups you have to leave in the rig, like (well, ME)
Yep, there are sites that will run you a lot less per month, some are good deals, some are not, just like the rest of life as a RVer.
This is a personal preference item, what suits you, may not suit me!
Luxury (pricy) is hard to take, at least for one time! NOT! HAHA
