although not a 'strict' order, mine seem to be Off-door (OD) front, then the OD back and DS-front try to go at the same time with the OD-Back a bit ahead of the other. Finally, the Door side back starts to come up. As I mentioned above though, it takes multiple tries to get them all up, especially in this colder weather. BTW - Lippert had a sheet out recommending a different fluid and additive for cold weather operation. I don't find it now - the only thing I have found is one sheet that says to use regular automotive ATF if low. ????

I had an issue with the right rear jack not retracting when I first tried to move my 2018 379RD. I found a loose connection on the control module that all the jack's are wired into. Had to replace the connector. The red wire would not stay connected.

When you say control module are you referring to the box that all connections go into or is it some other box?

Lippert jack

Had the same problem with a 2015 Bighorn, so the problem is not unique to Monties

Jack not going all the way up

My 2019 3120 Does the same thing. Cold or warm. What I did by trial and error was go into manual mode and pressed and held for a few seconds and then it would go up . Sometimes I had to do it two to three times before it finally retracted fully.

Thanks I can get it to retract in manual mode. It does this in warm weather as well. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the breaker is on a 2017 380Fk. I am not sure how to identify the breaker.

Thanks

I have 2015 3440RL in the shop now for the slides creeping out and the levelers not retracting in auto mode. The levelers would come in and stop in auto mode, and they seemed to change which one would stop each time I tried it.

They tell me they reset the solenoids and fixed the slide creep, but they are still trying to figure out what the cause of the leveler issue is. They replaced a valve and it did not fix it. Now they want to replace the control module and the pump. I have been using the manual mode to retract the jacks, but would like to be able to use the levelers as intended. Think I might tell them to forget further repair and just use the manual method. Starting to sound too expensive!

Yes, jstadler, the box that all the jack wires are wired into. On my trailer it is located on the ceiling of the pass thru storage area on the passenger or curb side.

If the system stops midway, whether it's one jack or others, and you can push buttons and complete the lifting of the jacks or the leveling process manually, and you don't have the 80 amp breaker installed that feeds the hydraulic pump, you need to get the breaker replaced with the 80 amp breaker. Most will find that their hydraulic system will work without any problem once you have the 80 amp breaker installed. https://www.amazon.com/Bussmann-CB18.../dp/B01LRHRNKE

I had this exact problem with my 2017 3160RL from the day I brought it home. It took me about a year to figure it out. It would extend/retract all jacks except the rear passenger side jack. The dealer replaced the jack twice and it still did not fix the problem. Finally, they pulled the material off from under the trailer to expose the jacks inner workings and discovered a hydraulic line had been improperly installed. It had been routed between the floor and a metal strut that is part of the frame underneath. They repaired it by cutting the strut, rerouting the line and re-welding the strut back into place. I have not had a problem with it since. I hope this helps.

Change the 50 amp for a 80 amp, and check the hydraulic oil in reservoir Might be a bit low on oil when all Jacks and slides extended.

The breaker should be behind the battery in the front compartment on the wall. I got my Bussman cb185-80 breaker from Amazon for 31.95. Anyone who has problems with the jacks should replace there breaker for the 80 amp first. This is not always a cure all but will probably be the solution most of the time. The RV industry knows we need the 80 amp breaker but chooses to save 10 bucks. Go figure.

My breaker was a few inches behind the battery on the left side. A red cable comes out of the battery and the first connection is on the lower pole of the subject breaker. Look at the pic I posted earlier in this thread.

When the LG retracts the pump will cutoff when the hi pressure switch is activated...

For those with creeping slides or LG issues provided the hyd pump motor auto reset breaker has been upgraded to 80 amps and cables from battery to breaker to dual polarity solenoid on hyd lump motor are tight I’d do two things...

Bleed the system.... it’s self bleeding

Replace fluid in reservoir with lower viscosity fluid if issues are in colder temps

There is another setting on the controller, scroll through the options using the up or down arrows top left to retrack all Jack's. I can't remember exactly what it says but it has worked every time I had a jack not come up completely using the retract button.
The auto reset breaker seems to be a culprit too.

No feedback on this problem but do have a question for the group.
I have a 2014 345DBQ and am looking at putting Lippert 3.0 Electric Leveling System. RV length is 39' and GVW 14K+. Should I go with 4 or 6 point system?
