On-board air compressor for my 3121RL

Any recommendations for an on-board air compressor for my Montana 3121RL? It would need to be able to pump up the Sailun ST235/80R16G tires.

Viair has several that will do it if you are wanting a 12V compressor.

I am testing a HF variant of the VIAIR will update once I have something to tell. I can purchase five of them for the price of one VIAIR. Time will tell if I just threw away $54.00

I have a VIAIR RV model and love it. I can easily get 110 psi into truck tires and 80 psi into 5th wheel tires.

It is a little expensive but it is also a quality AC

I use a Husky Air Inflator from Home Depot. Got the 120V model as I always have 120V either with the park or generator. There is also a model for 12V. Either one is only $25 so get one of each and be prepared for any situation. They pump up my truck tires, 80# and my Sailuns 105#. (Look just like VIAIR)
p.s. The one I bought from HF overheated and died. It did come with a nice case though.

I use a 115 volt 3 gallon compressor from HD. I use it for the tires on my DRV which max at 110 psi. Worth the added space. Also carry it in our Monty during our 3-5 month summer trips. Makes it easy to reduce tire pressure for a smoother ride then pump them back up to haul with.

I'm with you on the 120v, only difference is I bought the Makita MAC2400. It is the quietest portable air compressor with best cfm I could find in my research. It's heavy, but it's awesome. And, if I want to bring along some air tools for a project, I have the pressure and volume.

Here is one of the handiest things I have purchased. An adapter you plug into your 12 volt trailer receptical on the back of your truck that gives you the power for the 12 volt compressor.

Here is what I use. It is great for portable home projects as well.

Make sure to read the instructions carefully! Many of those are limited to being on for 5 minutes or less. Then must cool down. Big hassle with the 12v!

Wow, that is 11.2 pounds lighter than mine. Does it really inflate all 4 tires if you want to up them 2 psi each, or does it have to cycle some for each tire? This would be a weight and space savings worth paying attention to?

I have a Viair for my rig. It works great for my Sailuns. It is very compact, light, and being 12v I can use while boon docking if needed.

If you are asking about my Porter Cable, I bought it when I had an F150 pulling a TT. New truck and 5th wheel require higher pressures. So, at the higher pressure the 1.5g tank will require a few of cycles to add much air. This is the only small compressor that I have owned but am happy with it and would buy it a again. It is light and doesn't take up much room.

If you were not asking about mine, then never mind.

I purchased the Rigid 150PSI Pancake Compressor works perfectly however you need to have AC to use it, or you can connect it to your inverter if your batteries are fully charged

Baldicon, I was talking about you, and your model says it goes up to 150 psi. With only a 1.5 gallon tank, it must cycle for each tire that you want to increase a few psi on? Which is ok, because your compressor takes up much less space and weight than most. When I went on line, it seemed most smaller compressors like yours only went up to 125 psi?

It does pump up to 150psi, but with a smaller tank, it will cycle more than yours with the larger tank.
