In our model that unit plugs into an outlet that is located in the storage area right below it where the outdoor TV plugs in.

As stated by DQDick, your power supply connection should be outside in the storage/outdoor tv cabinet thats on the backside of your dining room table/slide.

The "gas pump & handle" you speak of is to hold the chairs in place when in transport, pull up on handle and slide the chairs seats under it and slowly release it is doesn't snap you fingers, avoids having to strap chairs down. Is only good for 2 chairs tho, not all 4.

To get into the cabinet there are staples that need to be pulled to open the front panel. From there you have access to the tower and plug.

Screws would have been better and easier to see.

Dav,

I took a picture today but having a little trouble getting it off my phone and onto my computer. Until I get that done, the staples are in the sheet/panel which is about 6 x 36 inches on the very front side of the desk mount. They are brown and don't stand out much from the panel. I used a small screwdriver and then a pair of dike to pull them.
