Shower Doors

‘17 305RL - just arrived, shower doors had come unhooked. Handle closest to shower head feel off. Inside door one end is not in track. How do you take doors out?

We removed all hardware for shower and put up a curved shower curtain. Wife didn't care for cleaning track.

You say "just arrived". Is it a new unit with warranty? If so, let dealer repair before PDI.

Had the same thing happen when we forgot to latch the shower doors before getting on the road. The handle simply slid back on with a little pressure. It appeared to have never had any stickem on the glass or rubber grommet. You should be able to pick up on the glass panel that has come off track and do an up and over with the roller on the track. Hope it is as easy a fix as mine was.

Our shower door handles fell off in transit, so it is not possible to lock them before moving. It's at the dealership now, hopefully when they fix the handles they stay on.

My latch came loose when we left the dealer and knocked the handle off. Don't remember who touched it last, but was probably me. I used some silicone to reattach it and have laid a dowel in the bottom track for insurance ever since.

We had the handle for the shower door come off the panel closest to the shower head twice. I finally put it back on with some Gorilla Glue and SO FAR it has not come loose. We do put two of the spring loaded curtain rods in the track now also JUST INCASE the latch and handle come off again and the DW also throws a rug over the tub and bottom rails to make sure the doors do not slam open and closed if moving and my glue job does not work. Have had no problems since I Gorilla glued the handle back on so wish us luck!

I'll try to throw in some pics on the slide issue. What I've learned on the handle - there is a little set screw that screws thru the handle and glass. It also had a small plastic bushing that prevents the screw from contacting the glass ... Gorilla glue sounds like the plan. The unit is not a year old yet - dealer is in TX and unit is in LA. Might call another friendlier dealer to get some feed back. Seems like wheel might have broken off since there's no room to jump out. need that camera for phone to look up there. bi-focals don't work ...
