How stable is "level"

We have the Lippert hydraulic auto level system on our 3701 LK system seems to level just fine, but camper seems to shake around allot when anyone walks or moves quickly..
Anyone else experiencing these same issues ??

It seems to not make allot of difference when , either after setting or just set up ..

There are (6) jacks, but nothing near the rear. Seems to me there should be something back there as it is near 12 foot from the last jacks to the back of the unit.
I've consider installing a couple of scissor jacks to help the issue ..

Thoughts and suggestions welcome

One thing that has help our level jack is to use blocks under them. I use pads made from 6 2x3 about a foot long. The shorter the jack is extended the more stable. That being said our unit still will move if there is a sudden movement or if you stomp across the floor.

You are going to always have some movement, you can get some Strong Armbar on your front jacks. Like these https://www.campingworld.com/jt-stro...kit-69725.html

Also stack up some of the lego block under each jacks so it want come down as far, I stack up about 4 to 5 of the lego blocks.

I'm sure that other will chime in and give you their take on it.

I've seen some people just pull in and hit the auto level button. As has been said, use enough blocks to keep the legs short especially at the rear and you will have a much more stable rv.

I find the front living room model we just bought more stable than the last 5er with front bedroom.

We put extra Lego blocks in the rear and it helps. most of the movement is because you are still siting on rubber tires on the ground.

My experience is that the shorter the front legs, the more stable the unit. I always use blocks especially on the front.

We were told by Lippert/LCI at a Fall Rally a couple years ago when same question was asked by an attendee, that the legs/struts on the level-up should not be extended more than 11 inches. If the legs need to be extended more than the 11" we are suppose to use blocks under the legs. I've made blocks out of 1X6 treated decking and have 6level-up two level blocks, two three level blocks and two four level blocks in the back of the truck and when I needed I use them under the level-up legs when parking at a site. I can move them around as needed per he levelness of the site. I very seldom ever put level-up pads connected to the legs on ground itself. I always put either one of the blocks I've made or a rubber stepping stone pad I've purchased at Menards under the leg before lowering and leveling. Another suggestion to eliminate some of the movement inside is to use X-Chokes between the tires. Just make sure when you use them that you do not spread the X-Chokes to tight to cause excess pressure on the tires. I've also seen units where the owner has added the scissor jacks to the rear of he unit and it also gives them more stability in the rear of the unit. Just remember your sitting on four(or six depending on your unit) rubber tires and you are not anchored to the ground like you are in a sticks and bricks house. Youi will always have SOME movement no matter what.

I bought a 6" x 6" green treat x 6' at Menards and cut it into 6 pieces, works great

I have a 3700lk (same thing but you have a residential fridge) and yes there is movement in the kitchen area (rear of coach). I keep my jacks to 6 inches or less extension and that seemed to help a bit. I was told the scissor jacks on the tow hitch are ok to help stabilize, but if you have a hydraulic failure you can potentially tweaked the frame. Don’t know how true that is but I can see how it might happen. Try the blocks under the jacks, that should help

I have a 2019 3731. One of the few things that has been a pleasant surprise is that the auto level jacks keep it almost rock solid, and mine is on native ground with a short piece of 2x6 under each jack.

I do need to re-calibrate "zero" as it has slight list to the drivers side.

I always use 2x10x12 wood under each pad and our 3791RD is (almost) rock solid every time.

Sure, you can always use some blocks to minimize jack travel, but I've never been in a FW with Lippert 6-pt leveling that was totally immovable. I haven't seen any rigs with rear jacks further out on the overhang, either.

Ditto here: I found some 1" thick fir plywood, cut if into 16" x 16" slabs, cut off the corners to mimic the round jack pads, and be sure they are reasonably centered under the pads. The rig is a lot more solid than the SOB we had before. If the ground is really off-level or too soft, I have 2.25" thick x 16" wide by 7' western red cedar planks on which I set the rig. Only trick is to haul them out of the truck and get them underneath while still hooked up !

I put 2" thick pads under the landing gear and these:
https://tweetys.com/andersen-3608-m-...gnetsaspx.aspx

under the other four jacks. A bit expensive but out 5er is rock solid all the time. These also allowed me to raise the mounting of the rear jack as they were so low I would hit on them now and then going down a driveway exit. I don't think the rear overhang is the issue. I think getting things as solid as possible near the wheels is what does the trick.

lots of great ideas - i have to install JT Strong arms on mu unit. basically these are angle braces that connect to the frame and near bottom of pad. It bothered us more when we first got it, don't notice it some much 2 years later.

This is my first rig with auto level, which all by itself creates more stability than any of my previous 5ers. There was still a little movement that I thought could be managed. The Strong Arms did the trick. I was only able to install them on to the front jacks because of the kind of spare tire rack installed behind the rear jacks. But the front stabilizers did it. Feels great now.
