New owner 3791RD
Hello all,
My wife and I just purchased a 2017 3091RD. This is our first fifth wheel. We decided to get out of the big boat and get something that was a bit cheaper to use. However, I am curious if my two EU2000 generators linked together will run The AC units.
Thanks,
Brian

Congratulations on the new rig and while the two might run one AC, the two Honda's won't run them both.

I have that set up. One will run one AC either one and The fridge and lights and receptacle. Even both Generators wont do both AC. Also i have before the companion generator came out, i have a box on one of mine that came with the generator that takes a 30amp plug. I have the pigtail that has a 50amp female and 30amp male to go to generator. Hope this helps.

You'll trip the breaker if running both a/c units, reefer, lights, and smaller stuff together. If there was a way to cycle the a/c units so only one would run at a time, that would work. I'll bet someone makes a power management system that can do just that. I suspect in hot parts of the country both would need to run at the same time to keep the 5r cool.

Product called "Easy Start 364" might be of interest to you (Google it).
