Atomic Clock
If you have a problem with setting clocks from daylight saving time and back, the Atomic clock will do it for you and give you the inside temperture and outside temperture along with day, date, and moon phase. They are tied in to the Atomic clock in Colorado, all you do is put in batterys and hang it up, it connects automatically over night. They cost about $25.00 and Sam's club/Walmart carries them.

I found the best "deal" at Wal-Mart. They had one that gave inside/outside teperature, humidity outside, barometric pressure with indication of possible weather changes (sunny, rain, etc.), time zone settings, 2 alarms, wall mounting/table-top stand, etc. all for around $25.00. Best value I could find.

Got on. It is great! This one has an inside thermometer and an outside send unit that keeps you informed of the outside temperature also.

I picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago. The remote temperature sender for mine states that it should be out of direct rain. That part is easy enough, but then road spray would be the same thing.
Where & how have people mounted their remote sender?

Take that rain thing seriously. I fried one sender by getting it wet. Now I put it in the basement. Sometimes I put it in the tool box in my truck bed because it won't get warmed/cooled there. Another place is in the pan under the hydrolic pump. The front compartment doesn't receive much heat when the monty is heated.

We have a clock, indoor and outdoor temp. Put it in the hitch when we are parked, seems to be accurate there. It also has a wire we can attach and stick in a tank, If you set the temp alarm it will warn you when it gets to a certain temp. Haven't used this yet, and kind of hope we don't have to!

I was not aware of the road spray problem with the sender, since it never rains in Southern California (yea right) I had installed it under the bedroom behind the hitch, I'll have to design a clear plastic cover to protect it. Thanks for the tip.

I found out that the clear plastic top cover of a butter dish works great to keep the moisture out of the sending unit. Just seal it with silicone around the edges.
