Cord Reel

The reel on our 2017 3720 has stopped working. The switch had a wire corroded off so I bought a new switch. This did not fix it. With my multimeter I checked power right to the motor but not a peep out of the mechanism. I suspect either the motor or the solenoid is done. Any ideas out there where to find parts for this? It is a TRC Southside Shoreline Reels brand and is Model MH2021.

That part number seems to be for the switch.

Might be best to contact TRC or Southwire. Maybe one bought the reel business from the other?

In case it helps, heres a pdf to a clutch/solenoid retrofit kit - doesn’t state for what model reel the kit is for but does list a phone number. If you google the kit part number, several sellers come up. Maybe one of them can help.

Yes you are right. The model # I quoted was for the switch. The reel model # is RL5 on my info sheet. I am in Chatsworth, Ontario Canada.
