Picked It Up Today

Well we picked up our Montana today. We can't keep it at our house, but Jeanne found a great place just a couple of miles from Sun Coast RV where we bought it. Stored in a place where it's all paved and the RV is bought out to a stagging area when we want to use or work on it. They have facilities to wash, a dump station and all the way around it seems like a great place to keep it.

A bit more than where we thought we were going to keep our Montana, but getting it parked would have been near impossible where we had first arranged. They were a warehouse type operation first with a few RV's parked on the grass. Tight spaces and manuvering our big truck in there would have been very hard.

Now we are trying to get a camping trip together with our two daughters and their families in Feburary, then we will use it on Spring Break from March 18-26 in Franklin NC where we will stay this summer. Sort of a dry run to see how we like the park where we thing we are going to stay.

If we survive the summer in our Montana then we may put our house up for sale when we return and in about a year could be living in it here while I wrap things up and we try a couple years on the road.

Time will tell if we adapt.

I think we do.

Bill and Jeanne -

I am sure you will really enjoy your new home on wheels. Have a great time with your new vehicle. We also are not allowed to store our rig at home. So, Monty is parked about two hours away. We are counting the days down until April 1, when we can go visit our rig for the spring, summer and fall. We have a lot of fun planned for this summer. Best of luck.
