Need help cleaning pine tree sap off cap

I have been in and out of the hospital since the end of June. Had surgery and now trying to get well again. so the camper has been sitting for four months without much care given to it, Yesterday the wife and I took a good look at the Montana and discovered the nose cap has pine tree sap on it. I got the 3M adhesive remover and we worked on getting it off. The 3M cleaner does remove the sap, but it is slow going. Just wondering if anyone has a better suggestion for removing pine tree sap. It is still soft, but starting to get hard, afraid to use a pressure washer because of the decal. So anyone can you give me some advise here, I'd appreciate it
