Kerrville TX & Mustang Island TX Resorts

Has anyone stayed in these places, we will be staying in Kerrville for a few night and then on padre/Mustang Island as we slowly head home from CA. Any recommendations on which parks to stay at.

Thanks

We have enjoyed Pioneer RV in Port Aransas. Great beach access and nice amenities.I would recommend it highly.

There are several good campgrounds in Kerrville and surrounding area.

I would only encourage a stop here. One place you would want to visit is the Western Art Museum

We stayed at Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville a number of years ago and it was nice. But I think it is now Jelleystone RV Resort.

Our favorite is Kerrville Schreiner Park, formerly a state park now owned by the city. There is a riverside section along the Guadeloupe River and across the highway the larger hillside section. Most all sites are pull thru, parallel to road (not side by side), with lots of room. We like the hillside. Lot of hiking trails and good areas for just walking or bike riding. Deer would regularly come grazing thru our site.
