The slide out on my 2005 2955RL started opening very slowly, sometimes i even have to pull it to open it. it closes just fine. Any ideas?
i sprayed with lube several times didn't help.

Are your batteries fully charged and in good condition?

My batteries are fully charged.
I forgot to mention in my post that I was camping on the beach for a week.
This started happening after that.
Could it be that sand got in somewhere

I would take a look at the vdc near the load. This might help nail down a poor connection in that circuit.

Is it slow when connected to shore power? Or just from battery only?

Do both of the slides open slowly? Or just one of them?
Sorry for all the questions and no answers. Just trying to figure out the possibilities.

Just the dining room slide. The bedroom is fine.

Nice truck and trailer! I would check fluid level and make sure your hose fittings are tight. Sounds like you already checked for good batteries.

Obviously the larger slide is heavier and will require more power to move it. Doesn't explain why it is slow to open but closes ok. No good guess.
I would put some jumper cables from the truck to the trailer battery and try it to see if the extra boost makes the slide go out ok. If so, then I would question if your trailer battery is really in good condition and putting out the rated current/voltage. If still slow, then there is obviously something restricting the opening movement.

i think i may have fixed it. I cleaned the tracks with dawn dish soap then sprayed it with dry lube and it seems to be working well.

Glad you got it fixed. I love my set up too. I wouldn’t change anything.
