12 vlt wiring diagram

2005 montantana 3500RL. the outside "scare" lights and the bed reading lamp on the nose side are not powered. The 12 vlt panel red leds don't show any bad fuses.. Is there a diagram available for the 12v system?
Have checked ...no power to the fixtures.

Did you check for power at the bulb receptacle or on the wire itself. My 2006, the push button went bad on the bed reading light.

Don’t depend on the red LED’s to indicate good or bad fuses. The only reliable way is to use your volt meter to check for power on both sides of the fuses. There is little holes on both sides on top of the fuses that you can probe with one of the probes of the voltmeter. Hot on both sides is a good fuse, only hot on one side is a blown fuse. There are no diagrams for any of the systems on any Keystone product.

In our 2006 Monty, yesterday the bathroom light was out. I thought easy--bulb was blown. But no luck. After disassembly of light fixture on ceiling, I opened the quick connections and cleaned them. Re-assembled and FIXED! So, for 12 VDC light failures, those original connections will fail eventually. Just my story!

Would have made some sense if the 12vlt fuses were marked or diagramed as to their paths like the 110 circuit breakers... Duh..
Thanks for the info... time to drill down further into the wiring and switches...

There isn't a wiring diagram, however I have this keystone wiring color code document I got somewhere. It may have been from another user on the MOC.

May be bad switches. I had to replace the push button switches on both my bed side lights and one of the wall lights in the living room in my 2007. Very cheap devices.

Use a meter to see if you have voltage at the switch. And thru the switch when you actuate it.

And probably there are none to give. Those doing the wiring probably do so from basic “guidelines” rather than wiring diagrams meaning that no two people are likely to wire them exactly the same. As such they would likely spend 10-15% less time to wire each unit.

If an "auto" type fuse blows a "RED" led light should light up to show what fuse has blown......None of mine work.........

There are four (4) auto fuses installed on the panel and no info recorded on the cover.....Keystone told me to pull the fuse(s) and see what stopped working............

Called customer service for the company that made the panel...No Help from them!!!

Thanks for the info.. my panel has a bunch of 15 amp blade fuses.. Will have to check them individually also i have seen posts that the outside floods are also controlled by the remote device. Will have to check that as well.

Jim in Halifax - I suggest you try this…
Create a new thread in this same sub forum like this…
(Using the right bait might catch some fish!)

“Fuse panel labels for 2021 3790RL?”
My fuse panel labels are blank. Keystone failed to label the fuses in the factory.
I would appreciate it if anyone with similar model could take a pic of their label and post it here. TIA!

I caught a break! My 15 VDC fuse panel has labels -scribbled on the fuse marker strip. So in 2006 someone was marking the panels. I will keep my Monty knowing I have some working definition of the 12 VDC circuits. As others have said, I have replaced the original push buttons on several lights as well as the quick snap connections.

I remove and repalce all 12 volt spade fuses once a year. Keeps the contacts nice and clean

On a side note - in a pinch, a pencil eraser has the perfect abrasion coefficient for cleaning terminal lugs such as those on spade fuses.

Could it be the 4 auto fuses you are seeing are the Reverse Polarity Fuses that protect the converter from a battery being hooked up backwards. There are no labels on these. They are 25 amp auto blade type fuses located in a group near the top right of the power box.

The 12V coach fuses are usually 15 amp arranged in a line along the bottom of the power box. These are the ones with red LEDs that should/may illuminate when a fuse is blown. It is very unusual to not have something scribbled under each fuse attempting to describe what it services.
