We will be workamping at Goose Island State Park, Rockport, TX from Dec 1 till May 1. 1st time workamping. hope we like it.

Very nice park. Rockport is such a nice little town. I'm sure you will enjoy it there. We spent a month there in 2010 and became good friends with Wayne and Julie who used to be work campers there. I'm sure some of the rangers there will remember them. We have very fond memories of that park and the cute little town of Rockport.

Rockport is a great small town with friendly people. We have spent 2 winters there at Rockport Country RV Park. As for the weather in the signature pic. It is like that again here in Northern MN About 25 degrees and light snow.

Just a report on our workcamping experience. we love it so far. Park rangers are all friendly. ''''campground is great. I need to get out fishing though. Nobodys fault but my own. It is free in the state park.
they even loan the equipment if you don't have your own.
