Brake Controller
We have to replace our brake controller. We have been looking at the Tekonsha Prodigy. Does anyone have an opinion about this one or another that may be better?

The prodigy is what we have and we are happy with it.

Prior to buying our Ford with the brake controller built in, we had a Prodigy and it worked great...just need to make sure the angle of installation is correct (not a big deal).

We have one and like it. It is especially good as I tow a boat trailer and a large utility trailer at times. It's easy to adjust for different needs.

We have the Prodigy. It's the best one we've had.

If you can, get the Prodigy 2, the mounting angle is not as important with it. Another plus, Prodigys are warrantee for life. Just exchanged my old Prodigy (adjustment wheel died) for a new one at CW with no questions asked. Love it, especially with the Boost feature.

We have been using the Max Brake for over 2 years and feel it is far superior to any of the 5 controllers we have tried during our 14 years of fulltiming. Diana

Prodigy here as well. This is the 2nd RV I've used it with. Zero problems!

We have a Prodigy also, they work OK in my opinion, if I had to do it again it would be a Max Brake. The reason is, Max Brake has a pressure sensor that ties into the hydraulic brake line, it tels the controller more information, the design is exactly like the new truck factory built-in controllers, a much better product IMO, Ron
