Anybody have a "Flag Pole Buddy" flag system?
Does anyone have this on their trailer? Looks interesting, would like to get the 22' flag pole length.
Thanks

yes I have one. it works great but has let the wind pull it out of the bottom rest and then laid it on the ground. Therefore I suggest getting a bolt to hold the base in the bottom cup.
I claim worth the money. I do run two flags from the mast.

I have one also. Have never had it move out of the bottom receptacle like John but it seemed to get noisy after a couple of years. What I found was that the Velcro strip inside the upper mount piece that is used for a bit of cushioned had fallen off. I put a new piece on and now it works fine.

Many people who attend the Quartzsite Gathering have purchased this system while in Q.
This past winter season a fellow MOCer had the pole replaced by them after one of the bad windstorms in Apache Junction area. Took pics of the pole and they replaced it quickly after it was confirmed the purchase was indeed theirs!! They had it in a few days! They stand by their products!

Yep we have one ....22' model and works great even in 40 - 50 mph winds....easy to take down and put up. We also have solar powered light on ours a Old Glory flies 24/7 in our camp.

I have the 16 foot model, I don't remember the thread size where the bolt goes into the bottom holder, but it is the same thread size as the bolts the hold the holder brackets together. I used a thumb screw that had 1 inch of thread, as it takes about 1/4 inch just to thread it through the holder. On the new model they now have two pins that go through the pole to keep it from closing down on its self. The top two sections, as long as you twist them out tight they should not collapse. If they are not tight you will know. You will hear the thud and go out and find a shorter flag pole.

I made my own pole holders mounted to the ladder out of PVC pipe. The top one has the angled slot (using a dremel tool) for easy set-up, and the lower tube is long enough so the pole will never come up and out. No bolt or pin needed.
Will post pics if requested.
