Slide out won’t close

I have a 2014 Montana Mountaineer M-358 RLT model #459516.711C0 product # 991762981.
The other day when I retracted my slide outs all functioned as normal except my bedroom slide out. It wouldn’t retract but the hydraulic mechanism did retract separating itself from the slide. The hydrolics are fine but it appears the connection to the slide is broken. Anyone have any ideas how I can go about reattaching it? Thanks for any of y’all’s help.

It is not uncommon for the bedroom hydraulics to separate from the wall and bed frame. Repair is not too difficult once you remove the bed and the plywood over the hydraulic mechanism.
I believe there are several posts from members on repairing the problem. Basically you will add more fasteners (and wood if needed) to the wall connection. A Search should uncover what others have done.

There may be lots of YouTube videos out there for your year model RV and bedroom slide - but there is a good video from the AZ RV Expert on YouTube where he replaces a rotten floor in an older (not sure what year) Montana. During the course of the work on the floor he has to disconnect the hydraulic slide mechanism. The screen shot below shows the title of the video to watch. I think it will help you understand the guts of the slide and what to look for.

Here is a Thread discussing your problem. https://www.montanaowners.com/forums....php?p=1267563

Here is another: https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=65828

Once you get the plywood off you will see what needs to be done.
