slide out moving slowly

I have a 2005 2955rl recently the dining room slideout started moving slowly (sometimes it even stops) when it is extending. when it is retracting it travels normally. I changed out the fluid and checked for leaks and everything looks fine. Is there a way to know if the motor is bad?
The batteries are fully charged.

Your battery is fully charged but how old is it. Is it still a good battery? The battery is the first place I would start. It’s it easiest to check. Do the easy stuff first

If the slide stops sometimes, it may be a voltage problem caused by a burnt auto reset breaker. I don’t think the wiring on an older rig could handle a larger breaker, so maybe just replace the breaker with a new one of the same amperage rating.

Fuse? What fuse? The electric jacks have an inline fuse. I am pretty sure the hydraulic pump runs through a self-resetting circuit breaker (actually two of them are involved but only one actually serves as the CB). Since the bedroom and dining slides are both hydraulic and driven via one system, there doesn't appear to be a pump/hydraulic problem. If there were a blockage, the pump wouldn't stop without sounding like it is laboring (just like when the slides are fully retracted you can hear a change in the sound of pump motor) and after stopping, the blockage should still be there preventing movement. I am thinking it is the 40 or 50 self-resetting circuit breaker causing the stopping and starting

I'm not sure I understand, doesn't the motor run off 12v.

I unhook your batteries and put another in maybe your car or truck battery. That would eliminate the battery as the problem. Then you can move on to something else.
Is your camper hooked to shore power? If not plug it in.

Do you have multiple hydraulic slides? In my case with three hydraulic slides, all on one switch, the kitchen comes in first, while the DR and BR move fractionally, until the kitchen stops at full in, then the DR comes in mostly, followed by the BR hesitantly, then DR full in, and finally the BR full in. It's worked that way since new, I think because the fluid takes the path of least resistance.

I think i may have solved it, i removed the hydraulic line going to the cylinder let some fluid drain out then reattached the line. tried it about 5 times last night and all worked well. will try again today.

My intention for removing the line was to clean the filter in the cylinder port but i was not able to get the port off.

There are no filters in the hydraulic system on these rigs, so not sure where you saw a filter.

The guy at my local RV service center said there is a small filter where the port connects to the cylinder.
