No Power to Monitor Panel

We have an 09 340RLQ Big Sky and after setting it up for the first time this year I have no power to the monitor panel. The water pump and water heater switches are dead also. The 12V fuse is good but I'm not sure there is power getting to it. Everything else seems to be working fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the battery disconnect engaged? Check the simple things first.
Bingo

I thought the same thing before I even finished reading the post. Let us know what you find.

Agreed, x3. If the battery disconnect is allowing power, next step is starting at the battery, working to the inverter panel. Let us know what you find.

Thanks for the responses. The battery disconnect is in the correct position where the key will not come out. I will start checking voltage and the batteries and working my way up when I get back to it this afternoon.

So you are plugged into a 120vac source? Water heater switches, one is 120vac (running off electric and gas is 12vdc). Only other 120vac switch on panel should be ceiling fan. If outside porch light, scare lights work and only water pump and gas water heater, then is propane on and does the stove light? Water pump, opening a faucet or low point cold water drain should cause pump to run...even with no water in tank. Not much help...just trying to help you think through the situation. John

We are plugged in to 120 volt. Below is a link to a picture of the panel. There is no power to it at all. The water pump will not run. Thanks for the response. P.S. This is my first attempt to post a photo. If it doesn't work I'll try again.

If all the 12V lights and so on are working when hooked up to 120V then this would not apply but you might want to check the reverse polarity fuses in the converter, if they are blown then there will be no 12V to the 12V side of the main panel.

The wiring on these things is a hit and miss thing, I don't think two were ever wired the same but it is easy to check each fuse location in the panel with a ohm meter to confirm you have voltage at each and every one. There has to be at least one wire coming from the panel to feed the 12V switches on your display, there are likely more than one. You could remove the display front if you have access to the switches from there and check voltages there as well. It is a matter of finding where the 12V is not getting to your display and those switches.

Good luck in the investigation.

Well I found the problem. It seems we had an unwanted resident over the winter. I found a nest under the stairs and four 12V wires chewed in two. I will be replacing the wires this evening and will have some pictures to post. I really appreciate all the help!

Glad to hear that you at least know what the issue is. John

Not a technical issue but a rodent issue. Glad you found it. Thanks for sharing what you found.
