Front cap LED problem

I just purchased a new 2023 Montana 3901RK with the legacy package. I had our unit delivered to us because I am recovering from shoulder surgery, and could not drive. When it was delivered I noticed the front cap accent LED lights were on. They were also on when we did our walk thru at the dealership. I cannot find a switch anywhere to turn them off. I have been in the on command system, and turned every light function off. I called keystone for some assistance, and they cannot tell me where to turn them off. They will not tell me where the wire that feeds them is. I realize that this is a new floor plan, but I am at a dead end. Any help would be appreciated.

It's probably a physical switch and not controlled by the on command. Have you tried all of the physical switches in the cabinet above the on command?

All switches in the cabinet have been identified and checked. I have checked all lower compartments, and no switches.

That sounds odd. I know that in-command replaced most all of the rocker switches. Are you 100% sure it's not on the menu? As much as I love tech I'm glad I have analog control of my components.

I love tech also, I am industrial boiler technician by trade, and regularly have to deal with control issues. I have been thru all menus in the screen, and nothing. How do you turn on, and off your accent LED lights?

My switch for those lights is immediately beside the physical switch for the kitchen island lights inside the in command cabinet. Start pulling 12 volt fuses to at least turn them off until you uncover your switch.

My unit is a 2018 model - but this is where to find my nose cap light switch (top left)

Look for a switch above the in-Comand-system

I’d love to start my statement by say, “Wow, that’s unbelievable”, but I can’t it’s very believable. My switch for the front cap, the pin light and the security lights are all 3 on one small panel underneath the in command panel. I too have the legacy package. They are not marked from factory, you just have to tinker around and figure this stuff out then get a label maker and have at it. That’s crazy, glad you could figure it out. Safe travels.

My cap light’s switch was inside the battery/hydraulic pump compartment located on the passenger side near the front. I re-wired it to the light under the entry stairs, so that both came on with the iN·Command menu labeled exterior light.

I have never been around anything this new, but is it possible since the fuse involved in the docking light and security lights I would look for a switch where the switches for the other 2 lights are.

If there is not a separate switch for the cap lights, see if the feed for them is behind the other 2 switches. Could be something as simple as the feed for the cap lights was hooked to the wrong side of a switch, i.e. hooked up to the line feeding the switches vs the load side of a particular switch.
