Well, it would be easier to see the video if all that writing wasn't on top of the images.

Some folks just DON'T get it, do they?

Much better versions on this video (without all the words) have appeared all over the .net. RV Fails is a sure source for a clean vid.

I watched a big Mack truck do the same thing this summer. He came out of an industrial road. I thought he’s running way too fast but he will slow down. He didn’t and as he made a left turn on the highway just in front of me the left wheels came off the ground about six inches and then in slow motion or so it seemed over he went and spread his load of dirt on the road. The police came, found he was drunk without a license. The company sent another driver and he didn’t have a license either.

Ever vigilant! We share the roads with overloaded trucks and lousy drivers. Fortunately they are in the minority but...wow

He was not it the high speed lane. But came in way to hot! He was in a turning lane that is very short. (Only about the length of the trailer and truck) This happened outside our campground. And I was told it was a very inexperienced driver who did not know the area.

I doubt any brand of hitch would hold given the twisting and weight behind it.
But the conversation at the campground...... " Safety chains? I know how to tow and drive so I don`t need them".

I was thinking that the truck should have tipped over as well. Or not.

Fivers don’t have safety chains.

not true, probably shouldn`t spread in correct information to the new guys. Just most people believe they can handle any situation that comes up. Most of the time the tailgate catches the 5er before it drops on the ground but people with the plastic 5er tailgates haven`t a chance. You know the whole high hitch thing. Unfortunately, I have witnessed this on 2 5ers leaving the campground, a real mess, bet they wished they had them. You can put safety chains on any hitch just need the right parts that are for sale on the Net.

No need to swipe at me spreading incorrect info. Especially since I am not spreading incorrect information. 5th wheels do not come with or require safety chains. Can you add them? Sure
But most if not all do not come with them. Goose necks do have / require them.
