Water pump not shutting off
I have been working on winterizing and got all but the ice maker flushes with antifreeze. But I noticed my pump is not turning off. Nothing is leaking or flowing. I have check check valve on city water and it is sealing off. Lines are pressurized. Ideas on next thing to check or is this normal?

Turn the pump switch off, it will run if there is no water in the lines.

The input line is still in the antifreeze jug. Are you thinking I just have air in the lines so the pump is not pressuring up, and then turning off?

The pump requires pressure build up to turn off.

Agree with above. Make sure your "winterize" valve is back into it's normal "non-winterizing" position too.

Also make sure you bypassed the water heater. Ours is 12 gallons and if it was empty, that's a lot of anti freeze.

Do you have the option to fill your fresh water tank when hooked up to city water by opening one valve? If you do, make sure that valve is In normal position and not in fill tank position
