North Carolina Earthquake

Sitting in the RV this morning at Mayberry Campground in Mount Airy, NC when suddenly, the RV started rocking like three or four people were pushing on the side. Turns out it was a 5.1 magnitude earthquake. It was centered around Sparta, NC. Not too far away from Mount Airy. That got the blood pumping a bit more quickly. Luckily ?? this was not my first earthquake rodeo. Went through one in Japan. As far as the jostling of the RV, I have had worse on some of our finer highways.

I’m up here in Roanoke. Not that far away but we didn’t feel it. We could have a big one here but it not likely. I wonder when a really big one will hit California say a 8+ and how many people will die and when will Yellowstone go off. The last one was 640,000 years ago and it goes off every 600,000 years.

The most important thing to ask: did it knock down Otis's still?

Really, glad you are ok.

Funny item was pointed out to me about the Andy Griffith show some time ago that changed my thoughts about the show? Everyone in the show was not married. Andy, Barney, Floyd, Mr. Howard, none of them. Even Mr. Darlin didn't have a wife. BUT, the only one who was married was Otis ... and he was drunk all the time!
