Emissions Recall T05 for RAM 3500
Got it in the mail today for the Selective Catalytic Reduction System in RAM 3500 trucks equipped with the Cummins 6.7 liter engine. My truck is a 2015 but is included in the recall.
T05 narrative:
It has been determined that some 2013-2014 model year RAM 3500 trucks equipped with a 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel engine may release air pollutants which exceed Federal and/or California Oxides of Nitrogen (NOX) standards.
The problem is...
Some MY2013-2014 RAM 3500 vehicles may experience degradation of the selective catalyst reduction (SCR) system. This can cause tailpipe emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOX) to exceed emissions standard.
What your dealer will do...
The SCR system on your vehicle will be repaired free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will replace the SCR system in your vehicle. The work will take about 1-6 hours to complete, but additional time may be necessary depending on service schedules
