Jack,

My first suggestion would be a tire dealer, if you can't find them there, try an automotive parts store like NAPA, Car Quest, Advance Auto Parts,......etc.

There are two kinds of metal stems, the ones that snap in like a standard valve stem, and the ones that have a hex nut holding them in place. I have had the best luck with the latter.
