Thought a Big Sky With 2500 TV was bad
We are at Rafter Bar J Ranch in S. Dakota Workamping for the Summer & I have seen some doozies. Apparently GCVW laws here in the land of triples are lke Stop signs in Mexico, just suggestions. One that comes to mind was a Nu-Wa Discover America 5-slide with a 12' or longer trailer holding a Harley & a Quad bing pulled by a Chevy 2500HD. Crazy... & there were several Big Sky/2500hd combos. Many 2500Hd or F250's pulling triples. Makes me feel not so bad. Dave.

I could not order a new 2010 3400RL (same model I have now) without upgrading my tv, let alone a Big Sky...

The 2010 3400Rl grosses out at 15,641. My big ole 08 F-350 Dually is rated at 15,200 which is why we are keeping the 06 3400 and doing some upgrades. The BS is out of the question.. We are doing the Mor Ryde IS Suspension next month and the Hydraulic disk brake mod as soon as we can come up with the $. That should help stop the thing. After those mods it will be a Montana in Name only. You do see some throat clutchers on the road.

Being smart or checking out ratings and capacities is not a prerequisite for being an RVer.
