3665RE
It seems Montana is no longer building the 3665RE.
I'm glad we bought ours last year, as it was the best floor plan for us at the time.
The new 3800RE looks very nice.

We are glad to have our 3665RE as well...the only two floor plans that would attract us are the 3625RE and the 3800 RE....but don't really care for the double bathroom doors....I would also like to see a longer awning if possible....

You're right! I didn't even notice the double bathroom doors, and the awning seems shorter than our 3665RE's.
But there is a lot more interior storage space in the 3800RE. I'd like to see the specs.

Both the 3665RE and the 3700/3800 have 17' awnings, so you don't lose anything. The double door bathroom isn't a big problem and has some advantages.

If we were able to be full-timers...I would go with the 3800 as it does have a nice setup for the washer and dryer with extra room...I also like small closet as you walk into the unit...I also think the entrance to the bedroom being on that side allows extra space in the bedroom especially with a queen bed...but for now I would not give up the 3665 for any other floor plan...

We have the 365REQ, which was the precursor (I think!) to the 3665RE, and we, too, love the floor plan. I am intrigued by the 3800 though, as it looks like it has maybe a better plan. I like the washer dryer setup, and in the drawings on the web site it appears that the entry door is moved a bit towards the front, putting it more under the awning than ours is, giving better rain protection. Would love to see one live. There are no specs on the web site. Anyone have any numbers?

I wish they would make the 3750 into a toy hauler with the bedroom in the back once the toys are out. That would be the best toy hauler on the market! We have lots of toys but have never considered a toy hauler because you loose so much of your living room and they are so sports decorated. 1 queen bed in the back that raises up or down when needed. Same decor as the reg. Montana's. To dream.... We also have the 36REQ now and love it.

Would someone explain the need or advantage of Double bathroom doors in a trailer? This advantage would have to beat losing wall space where I think walls are stronger than swinging doors. But I'm certainly interested in knowing for knowledge sake.
I also do understand, for some, the differences between a single door versus double doors are important to some and not to others, just as pocket doors for their same differences from swinging doors. Please educate me.

We like our "double doors" going into the bathroom. It allows us to go from the bathroom right into the bedroon with out going out the door and thru another. Also, if our son is with us he can use the bathroom without going into the bedroom area.

Washley1 we saw the 3800 at the RV show in Hershey this last weekend. Definitely our favorite. It seemed very similar to our units except the full slide in the bedroom gave more room in the hall by the bathroom and bedroom which in ours is a little cramped. The washer and dryer set up in that area was really nice. Besides that it was basically our floor plan. We did not get any numbers sorry!

The two advantages that come immediately to mind are separate entrances when you have guests (basically a "Jack n Jill" bathroom in a stick built) and access to the bedroom, through the bathroom, when the slides are in.
As for wall strength - you have to be kidding.

Bill and Cindy, Thanks for the info on the 3800. Just looking at the web site, I wonder if it is maybe longer than our 365's. Funny, if they have it at shows already, why not have numbers on the site? Guess I'll just have to bide my time until the Tampa show in January.

No bedroom access with the bed slide in is a biggy. Using the bedroom for a short stopover or packing up front before starting a trip requires putting the slide out. I think Keystone is eliminating that issue. Our 2011 3465SA model was phased out as well.

Those double doors take away from privacy in the bedroom and bathroom bigtime. To each their own, but I would not ever consider that setup.
