WOW. We have only used the special paper from CW. A friend of ours used regular paper in his SOB TT one time, and it plugged his tank solid on his first ever trip. The way he got it clear was he got ran into by a bulldozer on a trailer on the way home, and his insurance totaled his TT, and bought him a new one!!
Well I guess that another way to DUMP a tank and not have to worry about the type TP you use.

Never buy any paper at overpriced RV stores or specialty stores. Scott & Angel Soft can be found most any grocery, pharmaceutical or supplies store for much cheaper. Kirkland is at Costco, but you must buy it in enough quantity to supply your campground friends, too.

I'm sure Sam's club or other volume discounter probably has an equivalent but I'd verify that someone do a shake test on this so you don't buy the 100 rolls and find it doesn't pass the shake test, unless you have access to a stickhouse that can use it. Does anyone know?

My .02 - we used to waste money on the "RV" stuff until I read a review/test of different brands in Good Sam's magazine. Cottonelle was highly rated for "break through" resistance but still highly dissovable. Been using it ever since, no problems.

Angel Soft is the management's preference. It passes the "shake" test and hasn't caused an issue after five years of usage.
That's what we use.

Angel Soft is our choice.

If you wish to have something inexpensive, you can use the round rock method. Do not use a square rock, it will hurt your fingers.

We use Angel Soft also and in the interest of conservation we ask that you use both sides.

I've also heard that corn cobs work well too, but are a little "rough on the tooshie"......!

We use Kirkland both in the RV and with our Septic System on the farm. Great paper and great results!

If you ever use Corp of Engineers TP you may well go back to corn cobs. Thanks for all the input! Was wondering about Angel Soft, we'll be switching to that next time we need some.

Several years ago we attended an RV Seminar, and of course the question about what kind of bum floss to use in the RV. So everyone brought in their favourite kind and our speaker did the shake test. Kirkland from Costco won hands down. Also nice that each roll is individually wrapped so they don't soak up moisture or humidity when your rig is stored. This is why Kirkland is also popular with boaters.
In my opinion special RV paper from the RV dealer is a big consumer rip off.
I am old enough to remember that back on the farm in the Canadian prairies we used the
Sears Catalogue. All of the new paper products are so much nicer to use that the catalogue.

No soft Angels here.

We use Scott 1000 septic safe, and like Carol said, lightly used goes in the trash can when boondocking....never had a problem.
